SFE Earth Save Programs

Reduce your carbon footprint by choosing Eco Gas and Green Electricity!

Green Energy

  • Do your part to help the environment

  • The SFE Earth Save Program is the perfect way to make your home green! When you choose the Earth Save Program, SFE Energy will offset the carbon emissions your home creates from using electricity and natural gas.

Now you can choose to upgrade your home’s electricity and natural gas to help reduce your carbon footprint with the Green Electricity and Eco Gas programs. The generation of electricity and natural gas from the burning of fossil fuels, releases Carbon Dioxide, a buildup of which is harmful to the environment, and a major cause of global warming. You can reduce Carbon Emissions just by selecting the Green Electricity or Eco Gas Programs on your energy agreement. Hassle-free billing will occur right on your current utility bill! Being green is cost effective and easy, and we hope you’ll join us in our mission to make America a healthier and greener place to live by reducing your carbon footprint. By selecting Eco Gas or Green Electricity you will support reforestation, methane gas capture and biomass conversion programs to offset the carbon emissions created.  Read all about our project types and Earth Save Programs on our website.

Just to thank you for selecting the Earth Save Programs and helping the environment, SFE Energy has partnered with American Forests to plant 1 tree for every program our customers sign up for.

You can also locate SFE Energy on the U.S. EPA Green Power Locator website.

    Eco Gas

Did you know that the U.S. EPA estimates that 0.005 tonnes of CO2 are emitted per therm of natural gas burned? Do your part and offset the carbon emissions emitted from the  usage of natural gas in your home?  SFE Energy  will offset 1.5 tonnes of the natural gas carbon footprint from your household usage. *

Do your part today to help reduce your home’s carbon footprint and help the environment. It’s easy, affordable, and conscientious.

    Green Electricity

On average, electricity usage in your home emits 1.341 pounds (lbs) of carbon dioxide (CO2) per kWh. The average annual electricity consumption for a U.S. residential utility customer was 10,896 kWh per year, an average of 908 kilowatt-hours (kWh) per month. *

Most of the electricity  generated in the U.S. comes from fossil fuels, sources that are non renewable and emit harmful byproducts. That is why SFE Energy has an earth friendly product to offset 100% of the CO2 emitted from your electricity usage.

We’re teaming up for greater environmental impact!

SFE Energy, in partnership with American Forests will plant one trees for every customer that signs up for

the Eco Gas and/or Green Electricity program

Making a positive environmental change is a high priority for SFE Energy.  For every customer that selects an Earth Save Program SFE Energy will work with American Forests to plant a tree on your behalf. Trees play an important part in maintaining a healthy environment. Planting trees is considered one of the least expensive, most effective means of drawing excess carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, as one tree absorbs carbon dioxide at the rate of 48 pounds per year. Currently, carbon sequestration by plants offset 16.2% of total U.S. carbon dioxide emissions from the transportation and energy sectors.*
