Climate smart reforestation: Camp Fire

Over the next two years, AmericanForests and its partners will plant 120,000 trees in areas devastated by the 2018 Camp Fire, the deadliest wildfire in California’s history. They will plant native pine trees that aren’t just flame-resistant, but actually rely on fire to reproduce. This kind of “climate smart” reforestation helps slash the risk and effects of severe wildfires.

This #EarthMonth2020 we at SFE Energy are digging in with AmericanForests to help #ReforestAmerica in smart ways that bring green back to regions devastated by fires.
